Out of the Mouths of Babes

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Will Mrs. Robin Cornett please come forward!?!

All of the items from my previous list have one thing in common: they have been in Samuel’s mouth at some point over the last few weeks.

But, come to think of it, you’re all winners. Because if those items had not been everywhere that you mentioned (like in pockets, purses, diaper bags, laundry, under car seats…), then they probably would have never ended up in Samuel’s mouth!

Thankfully, he’s never swallowed on any of these strange items (at least not to my knowledge!). He just sucks and chews on them for a while. The grossest ones to me were the soggy cotton ball and ear plug. That’s just not right. Uughh.

So, in parting, here’s a collage of pictures I took of our little “muncher” the other day. And yes, he was stuffing grass and leaves into his mouth while I was taking pictures. :)

How to Style a Faux Hawk

Here are step-by-step instructional photos for styling your very own faux hawk at home! (Brought to you by John.)

1. Get a wet rag, and rub it all over your hair to make easier to work with.

2.  Slick your hair down with a brush. Don’t forget to part it down the middle!

3. Use that brush in an upward-swooping fashion, right in front.

4. With palms facing towards each other, bring all the hair on the top of your head together, as if it’s standing straight up.
