IF the floor under your kitchen table was covered in food after a meal, and IF ants got to the mess before you did,
What would you do?
(a.) I have no idea, I would never allow food to stay under my table long enough for ants to find it.
(b.) Sweep or vacuum up the food and ants, then mop any traces of food particles away, then immediately spray with kitchen-safe ant killer to prevent their return.
(c.) Plan to clean up the mess, then realize you're so very tired that you'd really rather go to sleep. And plus, the ants could be your little helpers, working all through the night to move the mess away. If they work hard enough, the floor could be spotless by morning!
I'm certain that my answer would be (a.) No doubt about it. Who could live with themselves for letting ants have free reign in the house???

We have been battling ants for a year...and sometimes I just head to bed and ignore. (c)

Very nice post. Since arriving back in Texas I have had to learn to put extra waffles away after I cook them. The ants have found them, but I decided to freeze some of the tiny ants with the waffles. Extra nutrition.
